Bethel Christian Academy
School Notes Overview:
Bethel Christian Academy is an integral part of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church, operating as a ministry of this church. Bethel Free Will Baptist Church has a three-fold purpose of Evangelizing the lost, Edifying our bothers and sisters in Christ, and Exalting our God in Worship. Our school meets the general recommendations of the State of Illinois. Every effort is made to keep our curriculum Christ-centered as well as current, and we consider various material and resources for the purpose of curriculum evaluation and study. The educational philosophy of Bethel Christian Academy is one of contrast. On the one hand, we view every man as possessing a sinful nature, making it necessary to make every child aware of the light of God's Law and man’s need for the Savior. On the other hand, we view man as one who can be redeemed by the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ his Savior. Most important then, is the need to show children the wonderful blessings of love and forgiveness, which are theirs through faith in Jesus. Bethel Christian Academy offers a full academic curriculum, and all subjects are taught in accordance with the full conviction that the Bible is the infallible norm and guide and final authority for all matters that pertain to Christian doctrine, faith, and life. The Christ-centered education offered by Bethel Christian Academy is designed to establish a lasting foundation in the Christian faith and to guide the student in all activities and relationships of life. As an educational facility we strive for excellence in academics. ...
