QUINCY (WGEM) --Twelve area charitable organizations got a funding boost this morning from the Community FOundation of the Quincy Area. "It's Time for Christmas" is the theme for the 41st annual Holiday Gift Show and Sale hosted by the Quincy Service League at Quincy High School this weekend. - Community Foundation of Quincy Area to award 12 grants totaling $20,500 (Quincy Herald-Whig)

Jill Blickhan, executive director of the Community Foundation, said the grants total $20,500. "These grants make provisions to bring art activities and programs to Adams County schools and allow area non-profit organizations to purchase much-needed equipment to serve area residents," Blickhan said. - Chaddock receives award (KHQA Tri-States)
