    There is no better way to learn the true meaning of Veteran's Day than to hear it directly from those who served our country themselves. During US and world history classes at Immaculate Conception High School in Elmhurst, the textbooks were set aside so students could get a first-hand view into US military service from two veterans.

    Immaculate Conception High School, Elmhurst, announced its first-quarter honor roll. Students earned a 3.7 grade point average or higher with grades of B or better to earn high honor roll status, and students achieved a 3.2 or higher average and grades of C or better to earn honor roll status.
