    The first thing Larry Davis noticed about Michael Snajdr’s golf game was his ability to hit the ball a long way. In fact, Snajdr was hitting too long in the beginning. “His first practice at Brookhills, he was hitting everything long,” said Davis, the boys golf coach at Lutheran High School. “Then he looked at the scorecard and said, ‘Oh, I was doing it in meters.’

    The first thing Lutheran High golf coach Larry Davis noticed about Michael Snajdr’s game was his ability to hit the ball a long way. In fact, Snajdr was hitting too long in the beginning. But once he got the meters-to-yards conversion figured out, Snajdr was on his way to a nice season, which continues today at the Class 1A Havana Sectional boys golf tournament in Petersburg.
