Minee Subee’s Private Kindergarten gives students a well-rounded education. They are introduced to and learn about literacy, math, computers, art, cooking, health and fitness, music, science, and social studies. Minee Subee’s Private Kindergarten class uses a whole language approach to literacy. This program, called Kindergarten Place, is by Scholastic’s Literacy Place. Kindergarten Place provides the students with the opportunity to explore literature, develop oral language, develop writing skills, learn phonics, and learn about the community and the world in which we live. It also connects the school with the family. Our unique programs are based on the principles of learning through exploration, imitation, curriculum, and interaction with other children and staff. These programs encourage developing attitudes including warmth and concern for others, awareness of needs, and the excitement and curiosity about the world in which they live.
