Montessori School of Lisle serves children between the ages of 2 years 9 months and 6 years. In adhering to the philosophy of Maria Montessori, we strive to develop confidence, self-direction, love of learning, social skills, and the ability to meet each day with enthusiasm and joy. It is the mission of MSOL to serve the needs of our children, our families, and the community by providing a dynamic and viable program of child development and education according to the philosophy and standards of Maria Montessori. Our focus at all times is on meeting the individual needs of the child and enhancing personal strengths and talents. Our goals for each student are academic excellence guided by his or her own developmental timetable and learning style, social proficiency, and the foundation of a strong moral character. We share the ideal and the insight of Maria Montessori of working toward a world of peace, tolerance, and shared responsibility by the only way possible: the effective and responsible education of our children.
