New Beginnings is a Christian Montessori school which serves children in preprimary, kindergarten, and 1st through 8th grades. Our goal is to provide a Christian environment coupled with the Montessori method of learning which will allow for the spiritual, educational, and developmental growth of our students. New Beginnings has been in existence since August of 1988. We are affiliated with the American Montessori Society, Illinois Montessori Society, registered as a private school with the State Board of Education and meet all state and local regulations. We are not connected with any particular church organization. Our staff and students come from a variety of different Christian churches in the area. Our school is unique in being a Christian school as well as a Montessori school. As Christian teachers, we strive to give the children a firm foundation in the Bible, familiarizing them with God's word through scripture memorization, stories, songs and drama. We do not teach any particular doctrine but rather basic Christian fundamentals. The morals and ethics involved with being a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ form the very foundation of New Beginnings. We try in all that we do to show by example how Christians should lead their lives. Our goal is to provide a Christian environment coupled with the Montessori method of learning which will allow for the spiritual, educational, and developmental growth of our students.
