Resurrection High School is a Catholic Christian community dedicated to the education of young women, and to the development of their God-given talents. Convinced of God’s unconditional love and nourished by the Risen Lord Jesus Christ, we are committed to the spiritual, ethical, intellectual, physical and social growth of our students. Classes are taught by an extremely dedicated staff, over half of whom possess a master’s degree. Teachers further their skills through continuing education and professional development opportunities, offering our students the latest information and advanced teaching methods geared to how young women learn. Resurrection High School strives to maintain a vital curriculum, continually evolving to meet the changing needs of its student body. Curriculum is reviewed and refined annually with new courses implemented on an ongoing basis....

The Presidential Scholarship is Dominican University's most prestigious scholarship. It is awarded to students who rank in the top 10 percent of their high school class with an ACT score of 28 or higher. On Sept. 27, Sister Mary Pat Volz will participate in Hike for Lung Health, a 3-mile walk through Lincoln Park. "It is important to me that all people are aware of asthma," said Volz. She added that she has helped students learn to manage their asthma and "learn how to use inhalers properly by passing along information that I have picked up at the walks." - School Digest (Park Ridge Herald-Advocate)
