School Notes:

  •

The 2011-2012 school year will be one of the most exciting times in Roycemore’s nearly 100-year history. Construction and renovation is quickly proceeding at 1200 Davis Street in Evanston, our future home. Classes are scheduled to begin on Roycemore’s new campus this November.

The move to a larger, newly-renovated facility in a downtown Evanston location will mean more flexible and comfortable learning spaces, expanded science and arts facilities, and a new gymnasium.

While Roycemore is a growing school on the move, relocating to a larger facility does not mean a change in the School’s mission. Roycemore will continue to provide an environment in which every student is known personally and prepared for success in college. Students will continue to be celebrated as individuals who are also vital members of a nurturing school community.

The best part of the move is that Roycemore will have a home of its own and a secure future for generations to come.

Here are a dozen or so girls' schools' public thoughts about themselves and their missions.

Make Summer a Special Time! Make Summer a Special Time!
If you have children in private school, then you are most likely looking at three months, perhaps even longer, which you must fill with activities of one kind or another during the long summer break.

Are You Liable? Are You Liable?
Is your DEL key about to get gaveled? It doesn't matter whether you teach in a public or private school setting. You expose yourself to legal risks every single day on the job.
