I currently have 3 children enrolled at Sacred Heart School. The learning environment at Sacred Heart is incredible. Starting in the early education program, the children learn through play, but also have structured activity time. This build the foundation for them to continue to grow educationally at Sacred Heart. The smaller class sizes is truly a benefit to the students. They get more personalized time from the educators and the relationships they foster are special. Students at Sacred Heart are kind, forgiving, loving and spiritual. This is where the Faith based learning comes into play. We could not be happier with our choice of schools and love watching our children grow at Sacred Heart!

We are extremely pleased with Sacred Heart School. The school has an outstanding curriculum and record of academic achievement (unlike the area public schools). While recently being awarded Blue Ribbon Status last year, test scores of the students continue to climb. The community is one of like-minded parents who value an excellent education paired with a strong reinforcement of values and integrity who all support one another. It's a laid-back and fun community that is inclusive to new members.

This is our 6th year at Sacred Heart and finally we have all 4 kids attending. The small class environment and community of parents with a common thread has been beneficial for both our children and us as parents. The teachers enthusiasm and skill has allowed each of them to be active participants in class and love learning; every year my daughters cry on the last day and then in July start asking "How many weeks until school starts?" My non-catholic husband was a skeptic at first and was sold on the full day Kindergarten. Two months into the school year he knew we would spend the next 16 years at Sacred Heart. He is now a member of the School Board and will be the President next year. Demographically, we are not varied, but we do give back to other communities and teach our children that philanthropy and action are necessary. Whether it's standing in the cold collecting donations for the food bank, or bringing the food TO the South Side food bank, packaging food at Feed My Starving Children as a group, or packaging toys and clothes for kids in need at Cradles to Candles, the parents at Sacred Heart make it a priority to help others. We are not a school of parents with our heads in the sand. We come from different backgrounds, but our values, often faith driven but not always, are a common thread in raising selfless kids with integrity. It starts at home, but Sacred Heart rounds it out. I cannot imagine a better school for my kids to grow up in. It's been a monumental influence of positivity in their lives and a family for all of us. This school is for anyone, of any creed, sexuality, or religion, open to a faith based education.

This is an amazing school and community! My children are well educated, have made really good, lifelong friends, and the new Principal is amazing. I've been very impressed with the academics and what my children are learning, but even MORE impressed with WHO they are becoming as faith-filled responsible citizens. By the time they graduate, they'll be more than ready for high school and beyond. If you want a excellent education in a safe, friendly community, this is the place.
