St Barbara School
School Notes Overview:
Saint Barbara School continues to proclaim its Catholic identity through times of societal challenges and changes through the sacrifices, dedication, devotion, and efforts of our school families, priests, sisters, lay teachers, staff and parishioners of Saint Barbara Parish. We at Saint Barbara's strive to impact the message of Jesus Christ through living His values by our example to the students based on scripture, gospel, values, and Catholic tradition. Academically, we continue to evaluate and update curriculum to keep abreast of recent trends in the field of education. Our faculty and staff have a strong commitment to Catholic education. Specialized classes are offered in the academic areas of Art appreciation, Band, Computer Science, Drug Education, The Family Life Program, Music, Physical Education, and a much heralded extra curricular program of Altar Servers, Athletics, Choir and Scouting to further develop the child as a whole person. The guidelines and procedures of the Parent/Student Handbook will help all of us to provide an environment at Saint Barbara School that can enable each child to achieve maximum growth as an individual....
