The meeting, open to all who are interested, will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Dave L. Evans Campus (formerly St. Mary Magdalene School) at 201 S. Briggs St.

    Tears were shed Friday morning but teachers and staff ended the day clapping and cheering for students as they left St. Mary Magdalene School before the school closed its doors for the last time. In January, the Diocese of Joliet announced its decision to close St. Mary Magdalene School, 201 S. Briggs St., due to finances and low enrollment.
