The mission of Saint Matthew Catholic School, which it receives in trust from the Church and, in particular, the Bishop of the Church of Peoria, is to provide an authentically Catholic, Christ-centered education for the whole child by modeling Christian values and virtues, by teaching a balanced curriculum, and giving pupils the opportunity to grow in their understanding and loving commitment to the Catholic way of life, as it has been received from sacred tradition and authentically interpreted by the Church's Magisterium.
St. Matthew School strives to be an educational community of pupils, parents, faculty, staff, and priests, committed to seeking truth and virtue in an atmosphere characterized by joy in learning, respect for individuals, and emphasis on a vibrant, loving community living out the sacraments of faith, hope and charity.
We strive to maintain the highest standards in all relevant fields.
