School Notes Overview: |
St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School is a Joliet Diocesan school which is fully accredited by the State of Illinois. Our educational programs are designed to meet the needs of children from Preschool through 8th grade. At St. Peter the Apostle School we recognize the importance of the spiritual, intellectual, social, physical, and aesthetic development of each child. As an integral part of the parish, St. Peter the Apostle School works in partnership with its parents, the primary educators of their children. United, we strive to form a faith-centered community in which the gospel message of Jesus is received, nurtured and lived. An active faith life through liturgical and personal prayer is essential for realizing our fullest potential. We offer an identifiably Catholic education based on our Christian heritage of religion, respect, and responsibility. Acknowledging our students as unique creations of God, we foster an atmosphere of love, support, and acceptance. Awareness of cultural heritage is infused into our school climate. We continually assess, adapt, and diversify the curriculum so that our students utilize their talents and are prepared to face the challenges of the future. ...read more
