School Notes Overview: |
The distinctive purpose of St. Zachary School is to create a Catholic educational community for students in preschool through eighth grade. Our school is certified by the Illinois State Board of Education and the Archdiocese of Chicago Office of Catholic Schools. Our students actively participate in liturgical and other devotional practices as a means of developing moral values, ethical standards of conduct, and integrity of character. Your children will experience a learning environment at St. Zachary that emphasizes academics based on our strong curriculum which utilizes traditional learning techniques as well as engaged learning. In addition to a challenging curriculum we also offer weekly mass with student participation, interscholastic Athletics (basketball, volleyball, softball), full-day kindergarten, morning and afternoon 3-year-old and 4-year-old preschool, before and after school care, a computer lab, physical education classes, and a music program. ...read more
