The school’s roots are planted in the Bible and grow out of the writings of the Protestant Reformation. Every program at Timothy Christian High School is based on the knowledge of the school’s responsibility in helping students to explore, enjoy, and understand—to the best of their abilities—the gift of God’s universe and their roles in it as Christ’s image bearers. Timothy Christian High School works in dedicated partnership with parents to provide the best possible education for all students which challenges them to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.     Chinelo Agwuncha of Westchester, a senior at Proviso Mathematics and Science Academy in Forest Park, was selected to serve on the Illinois State Board of Education Student Advisory Council for 2009-10. The new council will meet throughout the year to address education issues, including dropout prevention strategies.
