Annual art fair Tuesday evening at Visitation (Kewanee Star Courier)

Visitation Catholic School will hold its annual art fair from 6 to 8 Tuesday evening in the school gym. Students in kindergarten through eighth grade will display their art works. Projects will include studies of artists Alberto Giacometti and Vincent Van Gogh. -

Over 95 children from Visitation Catholic School, YMCA Kiddie Kollege and several walk-ins were processed by the Illinois Masonic Child Identification Program Wednesday at the Kewanee YMCA. Liz Blachinsky's "Green Eggs and Ham" tradition has now extended to the second generation. Mrs. Blachinsky (known to her students as Mrs. B) started reading the Dr. Seuss classic to her students when she was a teacher at Visitation Catholic School in Kewanee.
