Cornerstone Christian Academy

Organized in 1985, Cornerstone Christian Academy is a private, non-denominational, non-profit Christian School, and a ministry of the First Christian Church of Brazil, Indiana.
It is our purpose to educate the total child - mind, spirit, body, and soul.
We strive for high academic standards to equip the child to become a productive member of their society as well as provide them a means by which they can establish a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
The curriculum used at Cornerstone Christian Academy is a refreshing return to basic fundamentals for your child's total education.
We use the A Beka Book curriculum from the Christian publisher in Pensacola, Florida. This curriculum focuses on phonic in the primary grades. Cursive handwriting is taught in 1st- 5th grade.
The Pre-School curriculum has a readiness program that includes phonics, reading, writing, fine motor skills, and fun activities.
Children learn the alphabet letters and their sounds, number concepts from 1 to 20, and counting from 1 to 100.
The curriculum includes many small books, workbooks, and phonics cards.
This curriculum is a strong academic program that emphasizes the basics and recognizes that all truth comes from God, whether it be math, science, health, or any other subject.
Students participate in art, music, and physical education.  The primary grades emphasize math and reading and introduces health, science, and history.
Bible study is recognized as fundamentally important.  The Bible gives direction for this life and the only hope for the life to come.
Each class has a daily Bible lesson and the students participate in a weekly Chapel program.
