School Notes Overview: |
Oak Park Academy was formed as an alternative to public school education. Opened as a ministry by United Pentecostal Church in 1988, Oak Park Academy has devoted itself to "Training up a child in the way that they should go." The curriculum used by Oak Park Academy is called Accelerated Christian Education (ACE), and combines all subjects, both core and elective, with Christian character traits. Oak Park Academy covers grades K-12, and works with students at their own pace levels in each subject. Not all students, we have found out, are in the same grade level in all their subjects, our curriculum adjusts to that, and helps children who have difficulty in some subjects - while helping them to maintain in the subjects that they excel in. Oak Park Academy has a highly trained staff of instructors and supervisors that are capable of helping your child meet their academic needs. These are some of the reasons that Oak Park Academy students scored very successfully on standardized achievement tests, andwent on to many colleges around the country - or started successful careers. ...read more
