Children are given opportunities to discover the world around them through hands on activities, field trips, and scientific inquiry-based learning.
Students perform in a Christmas Extravaganza and in a Celebration of Greek Independence Day. Students receive Greek language instruction as part of the curriculum for kindergarten through sixth grade. Students celebrate their own heritage as part of the curriculum through 'show and tell', social studies, and creative projects.
A four day Senior Retreat for eighth graders culminates the years at St. Nicholas. St. Nicholas School has always felt like home for our students. Many of our alumni continue to stay in contact with their teachers and remain close friends with their classmates.
On the Stanford Achievement Test, our students consistently achieve scores well above the national averages. The graduates of St. Nicholas School go on to a variety of the best high schools and universities. More than a third of our seniors consistently qualify to enter honors programs in the high schools of their choice.
St. Nicholas School is a reputable private school committed to providing our pre-school through eighth grade students with a strong academic foundation in a Christian environment where each child is treated as an individual with talents that must be developed.
Since 1977, we have established a tradition of educating the whole child: spirit, mind, and body.
We encourage our students to not only succeed, but to excel.
Students are given opportunities to challenge themselves through enrichment projects and creative activities to develop their critical thinking skills.
