Starpoint School is a laboratory school for elementary age students 1st - 6th grade with learning differences.
It is located on teh campus of Texas Christian University.
The mission of the Starpoint School is to serve as on-campus training site for TCU College of Education students preparing to become teachers as well as provide a setting for educational research opportunities for faculty and staff.

  • Requirements for admission: IQ of 90 or greater Completed a traditional KindergartenDiagnosed with a learning disability Demonstrated no significant behavioral problems Application Procedure:Diagnostic Report Individually administered comprehensive educational evaluation that includes an IQ test as well as an achievement battery Records Release Form to be submitted to current school, diagnostician, additional tutoring programs. Confidential Teacher Evaluation Current classroom teacher should complete and return to Starpoint Student Information Form Please give as much information as you can Meeting With Director Zoom or in-person meeting to discuss and answer questions Child Visit Your child will visit one of our classrooms for the day Decisions will begin in April but could take most of May for complete enrollment.Applications will not be considered until we have all of the application components listed above in bold.
