Notes for Prospective Students

Admission to The Crowden School is based on teacher recommendations, grades, general musicianship and the child's entrance examination results. Beginning musicians are welcome at every grade level. During the admissions process, special attention is paid to each student's enthusiasm for participating in a music-centered curriculum; to the necessary commitment required to balance a rigorous academic curriculum and full music program; and to parents' willingness to support and contribute to a community of young musicians.
