Notes for Prospective Students

Incoming Kindergarten students should be able to identify all letters and letter sounds, recognize numbers 1-50 and basic shapes, understand simple addition and subtraction concepts using household objects, sequence pictures and events, give thoughtful explanations of pictures and personal experiences, write their names, and draw a picture of themselves. They should no longer be taking naps and should be able to focus on learning activities for up to 45 minutes at a time.
