School Notes

  • We pride ourselves on our continued support from the Foley Family, a partnership between students, families, teachers, advisers, alumni, coaches and administrators, who work together to prepare current and future students to succeed in all aspects of their lives, ensuring we are truly undeniably Catholic and academically excellent.
  • We provide students with a faith-based learning environment both inside and outside the classroom. While approximately 87% of our students are Catholic, a multitude of other faiths are represented within our community as well. Students are required to take four years of theology courses, attend weekly mass, participate in annual class retreats and complete at least 52 service hours over four years. We also offer a variety of faith-based extracurricular events and activities, including our annual Be the Difference Day and the nationwide March for Life rally in Washington, D.C., to put our faith into practice.
  • Bishop Foley Catholic's college preparatory-based curriculum is comprised of more than 100 course offerings, including more than 20 AP and honors classes. On average, our classes are typically comprised of no more than 17 students, allowing for more individualized instruction. We also provide a variety of learning accommodations for students who require them.

Bishop Foley Catholic has been a wonderful experience for our family. Our three children graduated from Foley and they were so well prepared for their college years. Foley offers something for everyone...a great variety of classes and extracurricular activities. The smaller size of the school was a definite plus for our children. We have met some wonderful families throughout our years at Foley. The Foley family truly is a caring, supportive environment.

As a Student/parent of Foley, I enjoyed the school and developed friends I still see after many years after graduation. I hoped my children would develop the same kind of friends while getting a great education. The school allowed them to grow and challenge themselves with school, faith and activities. Thanks Foley, for being a community of family and taking care of educating kids!!!

We chose Bishop Foley over other Catholic schools in the area for several reasons. First, we wanted a well-rounded high school experience for our 3 boys. We also wanted them to have the opportunity to play sports and join clubs of their choice, and a place where our catholic values and faith would be a priority and be shared. Bishop Foley Catholic delivered. Our boys played varsity football, basketball, baseball and soccer, were involved in robotics, participated on student council and were part of the crew for several falls and spring play productions. Two of our boys have graduated from BFC and both earned the top academic scholarship available at the 4-year university of their choice and are excelling in their studies of accounting and mechanical engineering. They continue to attend mass on a weekly basis and volunteer when the opportunity arises. Bishop Foley provided them a quality education in a faith-centered environment, that's what we were looking for and that's what we got! We have been very pleased with our experience at Bishop Foley Catholic and would highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about a Catholic education for their children.

We are in our 2nd year at Bishop Foley, and our experience has been absolutely fantastic. From the faculty and staff, to the students we have come in contact with as well as the families involved at Bishop Foley...it has been a true blessing to our son and our family. We have seen our son grow spiritually, academically and athletically during his time at Foley. One ringing endorsement of Foley is the number of alum who have come back to teach at Foley. There is a tremendous amount of pride at the school that shows in everything they do for our kids. I highly recommend Foley for a Catholic based education that truly prepares them from life beyond high school.

Bishop Foley is an excellent institution. The teachers care about the students- it shows on a daily basis. They have a strong Catholic identity- by far better than most- and the students love the retreats done by Fr Gerry ...so when they say "undeniably Catholic"... they truly mean it. I would definitely send my children there. I also like the fact that it is culturally diverse.

Bishop Foley was a great high school experience for me. Raised Catholic, I shared classes with Catholics and non-Catholics. It speaks for itself when another religious denomination chooses a Catholic school for all it offers when it comes to education and discipline. When I entered college, a professor asked me if I went to parochial school because it showed. I wasn't the brightest student or the most academically disciplined when I graduated from BFC, but I noticed in college just how much more ready I was by the comparison and how much I really learned outside of my education that served as excellent tools for my college years. The term 'Foley family' is not a myth. It's real and lifelong. Go Ventures!

I had an overall great experience at Bishop Foley. Natalie had a great staff of teachers that were great at what they did but they truly cared about students well-being.

We had 3 children attend Bishop Foley and 10 nieces and nephews. We were so pleased with the school`s academic and personal aspects of life. They continued to carry on the faith and traditions we instilled in them, along with dignity and respect to all. One of our daughters met her future husband there when she was a freshman, and they`ve now been married for 20 years and have 2 of their 3 children attending there, too. Thank you for keeping the standards we have always lived by and taught our children the most important things in life....God, family and love for one another. Cynthia Foreman, mother of Kelly, Tammy and Ryan Taylor and now, Isabella and Priscilla Scaccia
