My daughter is in sophomore. She is very happy in FGR and has been great in every aspect. The academic is wonderful and rigorous. She also has been enjoying its art programs as well. Above all, she has matured religiously and become a person who cares about others. Although my family is from South Korea, we never had problems as internationals. FGR is just a great school. My husband and I are so happy with our decision.

My sixth child is a sophomore at FGR -- all of his siblings having graduated from Father Gabriel Richard. The older five are or have graduated from University with technical degrees. They were all well-prepared for college and successful in their studies and careers. At FGR my children felt cared for and individually important. They had all the sporting opportunities they desired. My oldest was able to compete in two fall sports at the same time! The robotics program at FGR is excellent! We are so pleased with the caliber of teachers and administrators at this school. Kudos to the admin who went above and beyond their responsibilities to keep our students IN SCHOOL in 2020-21. It was an incredible feat.

My daughter graduated from FGR in May 2023 and is in her first year of college. She just received her mid-semester grades and was very pleased to earn straight A's. Her time at FGR prepared her well for the rigors of college academics. While at FGR she played a varsity sport for all 4 years and participated in several clubs. She formed close friendships that will be with her for the rest of her life. My son is currently a junior and is taking a mix of honors and AP classes. He has strong friendships and is involved in sports and extracurricular clubs. Both of my kids are on the quieter side but have fit in well and the teachers have provided outstanding support, through offering extra office hours and learning opportunities. This school has been a huge blessing in our lives!

My oldest child is in his sophomore year at FGR. We are so pleased with the decision to send him there and he is thriving. The faith of the community is felt throughout the student body and faculty. He is growing and achieving in academics, athletics, and his faith formation. He is in the right place for this part of his spiritual journey.

We joined FGR a couple of years ago our journey both for our son and us parents has been wonderful. The Academic program is solid, the teachers are really great and the Athletics program is awesome. We are especially grateful to belong to such a supportive and inclusive community and we feel truly blessed to be part of this school. I went back to work so we can afford private education for our kids and so far we have zero regrets - best decision we could have made. We are looking forward to having our second child join next year as well. We highly recommend it.

We currently have a Junior and a Freshman at FGR. Both of our kids have been thriving spiritually, academically, socially, and athletically. The Catholic faith is the heart of the school and it's identity and that is the main reason we chose to send our kids to FGR. They will be taught sound Catholic Theology at FGR. The kids have ample opportunities to meet other kids who are also trying to grow in their faith and live a life of virtue, and the staff is also there to support them. The faith is also integrated into the academic subjects that are taught. We have been very happy so far and glad that our kids are at FGR!

This is our first year at FGR and we are loving it so far. Our daughter is a Freshman and we have 7 more children to follow so we took our time deciding/discerning what school was the best fit for our family. We are so thankful that God brought us to FGR and particularly love the sense of community and faith here.

We are in our twelfth and final year with a young adult at FGR, and have nothing but positive things to say about our experiences. The academics are solid and the school does an excellent job preparing our young men and women for college or whatever their next steps are. The foundations of Catholic ethics and social teaching permeate the community, helping students (and even their parents) to understand their vital importance as our students prepare to engage the world. Finally, FGR has been an excellent community that includes parents and families, and we have formed many friendships with other families that we might not otherwise had the chance to meet. It is nice to see such a strong bond between the administration, teachers, students, and families. Throughout our time, we've really felt that the teachers are working with the parents--not against them--to prepare our young men and women to become upstanding citizens and engage the world.

My child transferred to FGR at the start of her Junior year. She was in a large comprehensive public high school beforehand, struggling with grades, and I found myself always begging the teachers for information on how she was performing. For the first time in her education history, she has stated that she likes school now as an FGR student, and she had the best progress report she has ever had as an FGR student. From my first conversation with Mary, the Admissions Director, we felt welcomed, informed, and in a true family atmosphere. The building is spotless, the teachers are attentive and responsive, and the setting is an intimate learning environment. The bottom line is that my daughter is a happy learner. I would highly recommend FGR!!

First, this is a true CATHOLIC school that teaches CATHOLIC doctrine. If you are Protestant, a holiday only Catholic or Islamic, this is probably not your type of private school. It is not a school for families who are in disagreement with Catholic teachings. The curriculum is very challenging whether you are in honors classes or the regular curriculum. The children in the high school are wonderful teenagers. Volunteerism is emphasized. Leadership is emphasized. Becoming a highly functional and responsible Cathoic is emphasized. If you want a TRUE Catholic education with high academics and a commitment to social agency, then this is the school for you! If you just want high academics, your child will be challenged spiritually on a daily basis.
