I have 2 boys attending JPII, and we have been very impressed at the level of academics balanced with the extracurricular activities and sports. This school is true college prep. The school has handled Covid with grace and flexibility while still giving the students a great education. The teachers are responsive and offer tutorials when needed. The school offers the opportunity to play multiple sports as well as try new ones. And, because it matters to teens, the food is amazing. We like the smaller class sizes and co-ed environment and leadership. Highly recommend JPII!

Both my husband and I attended private/Catholic schools. Our kids began Catholic school in preschool. NEVER have any of us felt so welcome in the school environment until we became a part of the Cardinal family. We are so thankful both of our children chose to attend JPII - we can truly not say enough wonderful things about this amazing school. There is almost no drama or bullying among the students. The students are very accepting of others and their choice in activities. Our children are challenged academically and have been sought after by highly competitive universities. Our daughter made the comment after her first semester that this was the first time that the teachers actually cared about her as a person as well as a student. As a parent, you can't go wrong sending your children to JPII!

I attended multiple public schools, Kindergarten to halfway through 9th grade, prior to attending JPII. I regret not transferring here earlier! I finally feel safe from drama, bullying, drugs, and basically everything you'd want to avoid at a school. Students at this school are so chill in terms of socializing, but they are very competitive academically. I have yet to run into any drama, and everyone has been really welcoming and friendly. It feels like we're all a part of one big cardinal family. The curriculum is very rigorous and I love the way the class sizes are smaller than in most public schools. All of my teachers are very helpful, and they even seem to actually care about their jobs! (Unlike most teachers I've had) In conclusion, the people, the academics, and the vibes of this school are honestly REFRESHING compared to the public schools I went to. Transferring here was the move. I 1000% recommend that you attend/send your child to JPII. I feel truly happy here! GO CARDINALS!!!
