The final decision to send our daughter to Westridge was made after we had the opportunity to participate in a student-led school tour. The student guide exuded a sense of self-assuredness and was clearly proud of her school community. We decided to place our quiet and slightly introverted child in Westridge's hand. Throughout her primary grade years, her teachers consistently commented, "We know that she knows, but she is so quiet." Our hope was that at Westridge, our child would find a safe place where she could find her voice and participate more openly. We believed that the Westridge staff would help her gain an understanding of the world that would align her on the right side of humanity. The Westridge administrative team and teachers are quick to respond to the needs of students. The faculty integrates the subject matter, allowing students to fully understand the curriculum. Our once timid daughter is now articulating her needs openly and clearly. She found the confidence to participate in debate, and now looking forward to trying out for team sports. Similarly, as a parent, I have enjoyed my interactions with Westridge faculty and parent peers alike. Take a tour and speak to a Westridge student. We believe it's the best endorsement of all.

When my husband and I were looking for a private school for our daughters, we were looking for a school not only offers robust academic curriculums but also heavily emphasizes character and social-emotional learning opportunities. We are very fortunate to be part of Westridge School for Girls. Our daughters have been with Westridge since 4th grade, and so far our experiences have always been positive. Since Westridge is specifically designed for girls with more than 100 years of history under strong leadership, they are very experienced and proficient in providing an environment that's best fit in shaping young, independent girls. The school programs continuously evolve and do an excellent job empowering these young minds to meet the challenges they will be facing in this modern world. Westridge School's philosophy of growth mindset encourages our daughters to take challenges and never be afraid to make a mistake. We are especially impressed by how Westridge takes an early initiative with DEI and encourages the whole Westridge community to make a difference. Teachers and administrators are truly supportive and nurturing. As part of the Westridge community, with confidence, we know that we are raising intellectual and well-rounded daughters together.

We`ve been at Westridge for three years (5th, 6th, 7th) and thus far have had a wonderful experience. The teaching and administrative staff have proven dedicated, supportive, communicative, and invested in our daughter`s success and happiness at every turn. She`s had a couple of teachers she didn`t love as well as others, but on the whole, it has been nothing but excellent experiences across the board. She has grown and matured both academically and emotionally by leaps and bounds while at Westridge. The teachers and counseling staff are proactive and have made every effort to address any challenges and concerns our daughter, or we, have had during the past three years. Our emails are always responded to promptly and thoughtfully. We feel very connected to the school as a whole and believe that the teachers and staff truly want the best for their students. The values and mission of Westridge align with our family values and beliefs. We truly feel our daughter is at the right school.

My daughter has attended The Westridge School since grade 4, the first year of admittance. She is currently a freshman. Westridge is indeed a special place where anything is possible. It is a supportive, inclusive environment with an emphasis on academic excellence. A Westridge girl is a force of nature. My daughter has not been shaped or formed, rather engaged in the empowering process of honing her best, bold self in a constructive, expressive manner as to affect good. The Westridge School does an amazing job of admitting quality young woman who are bright, confident and diverse. Its highly educated teachers, administrators, and specialty staff, model a culture of higher mindedness. The campus is stunning and impeccably maintained with attention to safety, architecture, and sustainability. A most gracious institution with deep ties to the community and a history of turning out well adjusted, happy young woman. Among them are many of the best and brightest in our nation. Its an honor to be a part of The Westridge School experience. -E. J-K
