Brawerman Elementary School is part of Wilshire Boulevard Temple, a synagogue with a 140 year history that has always been dedicated to education.
In 1999, founding Head of School, Nadine Breuer, opened the doors of a magnificent new campus on L.A.'s Westside to ten Kindergarten students.
A grade level was added each year, and the first class of 6th graders graduated in 2006.
At Brawerman, we balance high academic achievement with care for students developmentally.
Through our integrated secular and Judaic curriculum, students acquire competence and confidence as communicators, problem solvers and menches.
Music, art physical education, technology, library and study skills are an integral part of our academic program.
