School Reviews
5 From the first day our son started at Gulliver, we knew we had found the perfect school for him. Gulliver supports his love of learning and encourages him to push himself academically. The school has weathered the pandemic without issue—updating its technology and platform to ensure that whether a child is remote or in-person; they are receiving a top-notch education. The number of electives and athletics available is second to none. - Posted by Parent - 6th Grade Parent |
5 One of the things I love about Gulliver is that they treat each child as an individual. As the parent of a new 6th grader, I was impressed during the interview process when the admissions director took the time to get to know my daughter and ask questions relevant to her and her experiences. My daughter was an individual, not just one of hundreds applying for a spot. I have seen that emphasis on personalized attention on numerous occasions, where a student that loves and excels in a particular area (not just academics) is supported, and their individual talents are nurtured. - Posted by Parent - proud raider mom |
5 As the parent of a seventh grader I need to say how satisfied our family is with the IB Program at Gulliver Academy. The quality of teachers and staff have made our experience remarkable. - Posted by Parent - Angela Camacho |
5 As a parent of 3 children at the Academy, I can attest that Gulliver is right for my 3 different learners. They have each felt supported since they were young and although all have taken different paths, are all thriving in their own way. The student council member, the drama artist and the quiet reader all love their school and that`s the most gratifying to an independent school parent. - Posted by Parent - Parent |
5 My daughter came to Gulliver in 6th grade and was receided with open arms by the other students and the teachers. The climate at the school is very safe, calm and supportive. Our daughter is in the IB program. The teachers really make the kids think by themselves and do a lot of group work. Since coming to Gulliver we think our daughter is much more engaged in the school. She studies hard because the teachers make the content interesting. And by making them work in groups the kids develop a great deal of responsibility and leadership. We couldn`t be happier! The school offers an amazing variety of electives and our daughter was able to tailor a curriculum based on her interests. She is doing orchestra and engineering. As parents we were very impressed with the core curriculum, but we were equally impressed by the electives. The school offers several clubs as well. Our daughter joined several ones including Latin, Dragons and Dungeons and Geography Bee.We are now bringing our other daughter to Gulliver. Although she is very different from her sister, we are sure that she will be able to trace her own path given how ample the academic levels, electives and clubs are at Gulliver. - Posted by Parent - Patricia |
