Herndon Children's Center

Herndon Children`s Center, Inc. (HCC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing families that live and work in the surrounding community with quality childcare and educational enrichment.
We do this by fostering a developmental, child-centered approach that nurtures children`s social, intellectual, emotional, and physical well-being.
HCC is governed by a board of directors-composed of parent representatives and local community members-that is committed to building on our experienced staff and maintaining exceptional staff-to-child ratios.
The center nurtures children from 3 months of age through p8 years of age. Our curriculum emphasizes the developmental growth of each child and instills positive social values.

  • HCC provides care for children from three (3) months of age through 8 years of age.
  • Full-Time Care: The majority of children enrolled at HCC attend full time. Children who attend five (5) days a week are considered full time.
  • Slot-Sharing: Slot-sharing opportunities are handled on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by HCC`s Director.  Parents may not sublet or share slots without written approval from the Director.
  • Part-Time Care: There are options available for 2 days/week (Tu/Th) or 3 days per week (M/W/F). Please see the Director for availability per classroom.
