  • Great News about Kingwood Christian School Class of 2015 (33 students) received offers over $3.2 million in scholarships from 70 colleges and universities; 2012 National Merit Scholar recipient; Christ-centered instruction and daily Bible instruction including weekly student-led praise and worship chapel services; Established in 1979; over 800 graduates; Partners with Kingwood Child Development Center to provide services 8 weeks old through high school graduation; Twenty-three students participated in State Honor Band; First place winner in State Science Fair; Ten different sport offered for boys and girls starting in elementary school; Dozens of athletes signed scholarships with colleges, universities and junior colleges (One athlete has already signed a scholarship with D2 school)l Basketball team Regional Champs to the Final 4; Advanced Placement classes in 11th and 12th in English, Physics, Chemistry, History, Government, Biology and Calculus Pre-Advanced Placement classes in 9th and 10th Advanced college-prep curriculum in high school; Christian curriculum in elementary school; Certified and degreed teachers; Fully Accredited-- AISA Alabama Independent School Association and SACS Southern Association of Colleges and Schools; Before/After School Care and Summer Care programs; Over 10% of high school students scored at or above 30 on ACT; Elementary students receive Spanish/French, Computer Lab, Library, PE, Guidance, Chorus, Art.
