School Notes

  • LCS' main endeavor is to satisfy a student`s spiritual, academic, social, and physical needs in the following ways: (1) By striving to offer a chapel program that includes revivals and special events. Additionally, Biblical integration is included in each academic subject and there are several leadership groups that strive to make disciples of fellow students. 2) By providing an excellent academic schedule that exceeds the requirements of the Tennessee Board of Regents. (3) By offering extracurricular activities that are geared toward addressing the social needs of students. (4) By providing a sports program including basketball, football, baseball, and soccer for boys; and basketball, volleyball, softball, and cheerleading for girls. We also provide a comprehensive physical education program that begins in Kindergarten.   LCS has a variety of talented students in the Fine Arts area. Students in Theater Arts, Choir, and Art, and other areas have won awards, including State Championships. The LCS Fine Arts Department has opportunities from Preschool to Grade 12. Each year, there are multiple productions and performance opportunities provided for each student so that students are given a chance to shine and families are provided a chance to celebrate their student`s talents. LCS is technologically advanced. The class of 2017 was the first class to be given iPads to replace textbooks. Each year a new class receives their textbooks on iPads. Currently, grades 9-12 are using one-to-one technology in the classroom. Lighthouse Christian School is paving the way in developing leaders for tomorrow and life-long followers of Christ. Check out the Lighthouse difference! You will be glad you did.

School Reviews

Could not be more impressed with Lighthouse! Less than $7,000/year is the best deal of any school I have seen in the greater Nashville area. Their love and support is top notch. Their teachers care for the kids and offer a high quality of education. Great Sports programs. Small classroom sizes. DIVERSITY! I can't believe they have 60% minorities. Such a well-balanced group.
