Christian Service
Marist`s Christian Service Program seeks to move the classroom
discussion of the personal and social components of a Christian
lifestyle into real-life instances of service and ministry.
Studentsare directed to service projects that promote works
for justiceand peace.
You Will Learn
Advanced Placement
Marist offers 12 AP courses: Biology, Calculus AB, Chemistry,
European History, Government & Politics, Language and Composition,
Japanese 3-5, Psychology, Literature & Composition, Physics,
Statistics, U.S. History.
College Now
College Now credits earned will transfer to most 4-year
colleges and universities. AP courses listed above are also College
Now courses.* Additional offerings are: Anatomy/Physiology,
Contemporary Mathematics, Intermediate Algebra, French3 & 4,
Pre-Calculus, Spanish 3, Spanish Culture& Conversation 1 &
2.
*AP Language & Composition is not a College Now course.
You Will Lead
Leadership opportunities abound at Marist, from Student Council
to the National Honor Society, to a host of clubs and sports.
Extracurricular Activities
The great majority of our students participate in at least one
of the 50+ extracurricular programs offered.
Theatre, Speech & Debate, Proclaim Liturgical Choir,
Environmental Club, Robotics, International Club, Right-to-Life,
Marist Outdoor Adventure Program, Marist Volunteer
Program,Mr. Spartan, Student Ambassador Team, Retreat Team,
Student Council, National Honor Society, Model United Nations.

Christian Leadership
The Christian Leadership Course (CLC) is a two-semester
junior/senior theology course that is designed to give students the
opportunity to learn basic skills in leadership and peer
facilitation within a Christian context. Students develop these
skills through activities, classroom lecture, assigned reading and
directed service to the school community, the freshman class, and
through other projects.
You Will Be Known
With a class size averaging 21 students, you will have a close
working relationship with your teachers. You will be welcomed and
accepted into the Marist family and will have an opportunity to
thrive in a safe and supportive environment.With an abundance of
service, leadership, activities and sports available, you will find

As of 2022, I have a Jr. and Fr. at Marist. They are interested in different things and each has been able to find their place at Marist. They have made new friends, develop life skills, and have been taught how to be good students. I have two more children coming up and they will definitely be heading to Marist.

Marist Catholic is hands down the best high school in the Eugene-Springfield area. It offers an unparalleled opportunity for academic, athletic, social, and spiritual growth, along with a tight-knit, family atmosphere. I took full advantage of the Honors, AP, and College Now courses Marist offers. In addition to building critical thinking skills as a result of these classes, I was fortunate to enter college as a sophomore based on credits! Marist's teachers are excellent, and many of them have been part of the community for multiple decades. They know their subject matter inside and out, and it shows. Attentive teachers and small class sizes ensure that each student gets what he needs to succeed. Furthermore, teachers are more than willing to provide individualized attention. I always felt comfortable approaching them for help, and they were always happy to provide it. Amongst others, I was particularly impressed by the quality of the English, History, Science, and Mathematics departments. Thanks to Marist, I felt incredibly well prepared for the rigors of a collegiate course load at a Top 100 National University. As a top-flight college preparatory institution, Marist offers more than just academic excellence. Its holistic approach to education sets it apart from the rest of the area schools. Almost every student is encouraged to participate in multiple sports, clubs, or other extracurriculars. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience as a member of the football and golf teams, in addition to the Christian Leadership Class and Retreat Team. My development as an athlete, friend, leader, and spiritual being was every bit as impactful as my classroom experience at Marist. Additionally, learning how to balance academics with extracurriculars was critical to my success in college. Last but not least, I found lifelong friends at Marist! I don't have kids yet, but if I did, I can't imagine sending them anywhere else for high school. I am truly thankful and blessed to be part of the Marist family!
