School Notes

Our elementary school parents see the difference a Nouvel Catholic Central education makes immediately as their child grows in confidence, perseverance, kindness, discipline and a budding knowledge of how much God loves them. Parents also see the difference later-when their children excel far beyond the norm in middle and high school.

Our middle school students at Nouvel Catholic Central are vibrant, budding scholars and confident preteens that have developed a love of learning. At this stage, we continue helping our students become more engaged, active and self-advocating learners capable of handling a more rigorous curriculum that will prepare them for high school and college.

Points of Panther Pride:
  • Our 18:1 student-teacher ratio ensures that students receive personal attention in small classes
  • Students surpass NWEA national testing norms and outperform in areas of reading, mathematics, language usage and science
  • Students participate in daily prayer and attend weekly Mass
  • Specialized support for high and low learners is available in both mathematics and reading
  • Students receive a diverse and enriching curriculum that includes enrichment classes in the areas of art, physical education, computers, music education and Spanish
  • All students, regardless of experience, are encouraged to participate in athletic activities, without additional expense to the family
  • Extracurricular activities and clubs provide opportunities for fun and interaction outside of the classroom
  • Various forms of technology are used to aid in daily instruction, including smartboards, document cameras, mobile labs, Chromebooks and iPads

Best environment for all children as they develop and learn during critical primary years.

We have been a Nouvel family for several years. Nouvel provides a wonderful education and curriculum that includes many special activities and faith-based learning. The children and staff at Nouvel are kind, caring, and the community feels like a family. Through the recent struggles with Covid, the team was fantastic. During the last year, our family also faced the unfortunate situation of losing our home in the flood. The staff at Nouvel was so wonderful to work with and understanding of our situation. We love Nouvel and will continue to send our children there through their preschool - 12th grade years.

We choose Nouvel for the small class size, the catholic education and family focus. The teachers have fewer students in their classrooms which enables them to spend more time one on one. Parents and grandparents are always welcome and encouraged to volunteer within the school. Yes, it does come at a price, but we don't regret the money we have spent for our children to receive a superior education.

The atmosphere at Nouvel is incomparable to other schools- it is beyond a school and more of a family. The entire staff is incredible filled with compassion and knowledge for the students. The students grasp more than an education but also a strong ethical and religious understanding that takes them far beyond the classroom.

Amazing School with a welcoming and great positive atmosphere. There are awesome teachers, supportive administrators, and caring school community. The school provides a wonderful education, music and arts programs and youth sports. We have loved sending our boys here and have really seen our children grow spiritually, emotionally and academically at this school.
