Overview
At North American Martyrs Catholic School, we believe that education takes place within the whole person body, mind and spirit.
We, as faculty and staff, are called to proclaim the Gospel message.
Further, we believe that every individual person is unique and has dignity and value.
The creative gifts of God, found within every person, are designed to be used for the benefit of all.
The model of Jesus, the Master Teacher, is at the core of the Church's educational ministry.
North American Martyrs School is a co-educational school with classes from pre-school to 6th grade.
Located in Monroeville, on Haymaker Road, adjacent to the Western Pennsylvania Hospital - Forbes Regional Campus, our modern, air-conditioned facility is situated on a 25 acre campus of beautifully landscaped lawn and wooded areas with ample parking space.
Our school is staffed by state certified professional educators. The school is fully certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and accredited by the Middle States Association.
Our team of dedicated, professional educators is comitted to continuing the long history of education excellence that has been the trademark of Catholic Education.
St. Bernadette School offers a complete, Christ-centered education from preschool through 8th grade.
We are a strong community of teachers, parents and students working together to achieve excellence in education and a strong faith identity.
St. Bernadette School is located in the Eastern Suburbs of Pittsburgh, serving Monroeville and the surrounding communities in the Allegheny and Westmoreland counties.
We, the Catholic Community of St. Bernadette, are called by the Father in a covenant of love to form the family of God.
We respond to this call by following Jesus' example: opening our hearts, sharing our gifts, and serving one another.
Central to this response is our commitment to praise and worship our loving God, most especially in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
Through the Holy Spirit, our community continues to grow in holiness.
We seek to instill the Spirit of God within each other by listening to the Word of God, living it, and acting to fulfill it.
All members share the responsibility of discipleship according to their gifts and talents and the needs of the parish community.
We are committed to fulfill this mission by communicating God's unconditional love to all people.
