Notes for Prospective Students

We serve academic students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade who have visual impairments/blindness that adversely affect a child's educational performance. Our students access the curriculum of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia with accomodations such as magnification, speech enhancement, and braille. Our students are included in the general education program at St. Jerome Catholic School with their sighted peers when it is determined by the individual's IEP team that the child is ready to function independently within a larger classroom setting.
