The Pond

  • The Kinder Club Pond is a non-profit organization with a charter from the NYS Department of Education.
  • 2015-2016 classes are mixed age groups, generally 3's & 4's in the morning and 4's & 5's including Kindergartners in the afternoon, and meet up to five days per week, either half day or full day.
  • The program includes lots of art, pre-writing experiences, age appropriate math such as counting, sorting and patterning, music and movement including voice and instrumentation, daily fresh air and sunshine on 15 acres of beachfront, fields and forest, and events to include parents/caregivers throughout the school year! All classes are given under the supervision and guidance of a double certified NYS teacher, licensed and registered with Yoga Alliance, and licensed by Kindermusik International, also current pediatric cpr certification.

Great program! The teachers are patient, caring and nurturing, and the classroom is warm and inviting. The music program is age appropriate and just plain fun, and many of my graduating classmates have gone on to major in education and music! (including myself!) :)
