Notes for Prospective Students

Parents are free to work with NSA's guidance office to determine the best course options for your child. The NorthStar team recognizes that no two students are the same and because of that they encourage families to individualize courses to meet each student's needs and go at their own time, place, path and pace. Students are free to accelerate or remediate as needed to meet their unique needs. NorthStar teaches all courses in English and it is highly recommended that students that are not native English speakers have a strong grasp of English appropriate to their grade level.
It is highly recommended that students applying for NorthStar achieve at least a 450 on the paper based TOEFL score, or a computer based score of at least 140.
