The mission of Bodine School is to lead the Mid-South in teaching children with dyslexia to read and succeed. Bodine School is an independent school in Germantown, TN for students in grades 1-6 who have been diagnosed with dyslexia or related reading differences.
Bodine's program is designed to focus on early intervention. Students come to Bodine School because they display an unexpected difficulty learning to read, write and spell.
To remediate their unique struggles with reading, writing and spelling, we utilize the Orton-Gillingham approach and offer students an individualized, multi-sensory, research-based approach to instruction, while fostering the many advantages that come with the dyslexic mind.
