The Village School is an independent private school in West Houston that serves children from the age of three through the 9th grade.
In August of 2008, The Village School opened its new High School program, enrolling students for the 9th grade and adding a grade in each subsequent year through the 12th grade.
Our mission is to foster excellence through knowledge, character, and integrity.
We achieve this in a safe, warm, and supportive environment, blending a strong traditional education with a commitment to emergent and innovative best practices.
Our teachers do not simply provide superior instruction; they lead, inspire, and excite.
Each has been chosen because of their passion for the job and their ability to relate to students in a loving, supportive manner.
They find true delight in teaching and are committed to awakening the natural curiosity in young minds.
Most of our teachers have been with The Village School for over a decade, resulting in one of the lowest teacher turnover rates in the area.
