We've had a fantastic experience at Windmill Montessori School. The caring teachers played a pivotal role in helping our 3-year-old son transition seamlessly from home to the school environment. The individualized lesson plans have nurtured his growth beautifully, with a strong focus on math, reading, logic, and social skills. While the facilities may not be as fancy as some other top private schools in NYC, the quality of education and personal attention our child receives here more than makes up for it, and we also don't have to break the bank for this.

Our daughter attended Windmill from the first through eighth grade. This small school has a warm and homey atmosphere, where the children receive individual attention. We did an thorough search before we chose Windmill, and it was the best decision we ever made. The two people who run this school are as dedicated, caring, and passionate about the education and well being of your children as you are. My child is in her first year of high school and she excels in all subjects. Do yourself and your child a huge favor and visit this school.

My children both attended Windmill. Allison whose interest in science was recognized and fostered there has become a DVM. My son Sal went on to become a chef, but after 9/11 ,he entered the army. As a wounded warrior today, he still works for the army as a civilian. He is married with two little girls. Allison is also married and just finished her internship year. Windmill can be proud .
