My children's experience at PBVM has been truly fantastic. Great community, an emphasis on education of the whole child -- academics, character building, and just overall concern for students' well-being. There are lay teachers as well as Dominican sisters who teach. The Sisters are young and vibrant, such a cool experience for my kids to be taught by them, and they have really influenced the joyful culture of the school. PBVM has been such a great experience for my kids, I just can't thank them enough!

We have been at Presentation for five years (since our oldest was in TK) and we can't imagine sending our children anywhere else. Often schools talk about focusing on the "whole child," but if there's not a faith component, it's not possible. PBVM DOES form the whole child by actually living its mission of "Formed in Freedom for Excellence, Transformed through Grace and Virtue, Living in Joy born of Truth." The school's Virtue Program is woven into every lesson every day, and it's evident when you walk on campus. Everyone is joyful, kind and helpful. In terms of education, we can't be more pleased. My husband and I are both teachers and critical judges of pedagogy. Our boys came out of TK reading CVC words, promoted from Kindergarten reading above grade level and, their teachers continue to excel at instructing them in all areas. Not only are they learning, but they're experiencing and enjoying the beauty and wonder of learning. I think one of my favorite things about PBVM is that there is no emphasis on test scores, simply learning and growing. Presentation is unlike any other school I've seen. It is truly a gem.
