Montessori West Christian School

Montessori West Christian School is located on the west side of Spartanburg, South Carolina.
We currently have approximately 45 students enrolled.  We offer a Toddler Program as well as our Primary classrooms that goes through Kindergarten.
The school has been in operation since 1992.  The owners of Montessori West Christian School, Wayne and Virginia Plylar, established their first Montessori School in 1980 in order to provide a Montessori education for their two preschoolers.
Montessori West Christian School was built in addition to their first school to accommodate the demand for Montessori education on the west side of Spartanburg.
Additionally, Wayne Plylar is a custom home builder, therefore, building the schools to be fire and earthquake-resistant in an effort to provide a safe place for children to learn.
Montessori West Christian School provides a blend of the Montessori philosophy and Christian teaching, following the tradition of Montessori religious education.
