St. Bernards School

Founded in 1922, St. Bernard's School has a rich tradition of providing quality Christian education to the children of Saranac Lake and the surrounding communities.
While the majority of our students are Catholic, we welcome children of all faiths at St. Bernard's.
The faculty and staff of St. Bernard's are dedicated to providing a wholistic education for each child based on the principles of Christian faith.
Our goal is to enable each child to realize their own potential.
The school strives to promote a sense of christian values, foster a high sense of self-esteem and self-worth, and challenge each student to grow in faith, respect and responsibility.
Since a quality education is more than just elementary level academics, every student participates in art, music, physical education and computer lab each week.
St. Bernard's School, with its proud Roman Catholic heritage, is committed to promoting academic excellence, individual responsibility, and spiritual awareness in relationship with God and others.
In addition to being strong in the academic areas, we can offer an excellent Catholic religion program tied in with daily teachings and values.
