Rio Hondo Prep generally accepts applicants to sixth or seventh grade. Most applicants have participated as members of Kare Youth League for at least three months. A  recommendation from Kare is required for admission. 

Applicants who have not participated in the Kare Youth League are welcome to apply with an admissions interview.
