St. Bartholomew School educates each student in an atmosphere of Catholic, Christian community and service based on the Gospel values, in cooperation with and with support from the administration, teachers, parents, parishioners, and community of Columbus in developing each student’s unique spiritual, moral, academic and physical potential. St. Bartholomew Catholic School is fully accredited by the state of Indiana. We offer grades kindergarten through eighth plus a full-time Media Specialist and 3 part-time instructors for Physical Education, Music and Art. There are two classrooms of each grade level. Kindergarten is a full day program with the option of half-day. Our middle school program is departmentalized. Students attend Mass weekly and religion classes are taught daily. The Diocese of Metuchen will celebrate its Fifth Annual Red Mass on Nov. 1, at St. Bartholomew Church, Ryders Lane, East Brunswick. The 11 a.m. liturgy will be celebrated by the Most Rev. Paul G. Bootkoski, Bishop of the Diocese of Metuchen, who will also deliver the homily.
