School Notes Overview:

St. Matthew Early school is part of the mission of St. Matthew Catholic Church and to the community in which it lives. It is licensed by the Kansas State Department of Health and Environment, and is administered by the Director, the Pastor of St. Matthew, and the St. Matthew Preschool Council. We believe that every person is a unique creation and has a right to be treated with dignity. We consistently treat every member of every family with whom we come in contact with love and respect. We strive to teach children loving and caring ways to interact with one another. The purpose of St. Matthew Early school Program is to provide a secure and safe environment as well as a loving and stimulating atmosphere in which children can grow socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically, and spiritually through developmentally age-appropriate practices. We recognize that children learn though play, and we strive to create a climate that encourages exploration, experimentation, and creativity. Special attention is given to fostering a positive self-concept in each child through creative and structured learning opportunities.
