    The next chapter in the book Lois Robertson calls life is about to begin. Robertson, a Shawnee Heights Elementary School kindergarten teacher since 1974, is retiring in May after 35 years of getting Topeka-area youngsters’ educations started off on the right foot. “I will miss the children, but I’m ready to move on,” Robertson said. read more

    Children’s creativity will be on sale Friday during Topeka Lutheran School’s Art To Grow On benefit auction. The event is the third auction the school has held to benefit its capital campaign, which started a little less than three years ago.
