Montessori programs exist for children from birth through the age of eighteen. Montessori Educational Center offers a program for children ages 3 through 12. Dr. Montessori's philosophy believes that a child will learn best within a prepared environment that is designed to facilitate independent learning and exploration, as this will support their individual development. The goal in our Montessori program is to help each child reach their full potential in all areas of their life. The classroom activities support the development of cognitive skills as well as social skills, emotional growth, and physical coordination. Montessori is synonymus with hands-on learning, which provides children the opportunity to learn by doing.
