Seven Louisiana schools, including two in Baton Rouge, have been named Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education. Sherwood Middle Academic Magnet School and St. James Episcopal Day School, both in Baton Rouge, were named Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence this morning by the U.S. Department of Education, two of seven in the state of Louisiana.
